Our Client is a group of companies in the manufacturing industry. For their office in Sofia, Bulgaria, they are looking to hire an experienced:

Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Head the accounting department for several companies owned by the client and manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Conduct monthly and annual financial reports

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance or Accounting
• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Chief Accountant
• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing or construction would be a plus
• Excellent knowledge of local accounting standards and tax legislation
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Detail-oriented, accurate, organized and reliable
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Advanced Excel skills)
• Fluency in English
