We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant for our client – life insurance company.


The right candidate should

Reviews for correctness accounting entries on a timely basis;
Assists in Solvency II reporting;
Participates in budget preparation;
Prepares reports for budget vs. actual, investment follow up and other activity reports;
Participates in the investment activity of the Company;
Reporting line to the Finance & Accounting Manager;
Support preparation of documentation on project related matters;
Support and work on preparation of new insurance products;
Meets deadlines and ensures correctness of all types of prepared documents and reports;
Participates in local regulatory reporting;
Assist in maintenance of accounting and financial reporting structure and mappings;
Compliance with corporate and local accounting policies and procedures;
Works in a team with an actuary.
Requirements

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountancy;
Knowledge of insurance products;
Very good knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations;
Very good knowledge of insurance and IFRS framework;
Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in an insurance company;
Fluency in English;
Strong analytical thinking, time planning and organizational skills;
Disciplined, precise and organized individual.
