Finance and Accounting Manager
is responsible for all processes related tasks ensuring that the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved within agreed budget. They manage and control a broad range of operational accounting and analysis areas within their responsible parts of the client contract. They are responsible as people managers to manage staff performing the processes, including their development and availability. In addition they are responsible for new scope changes and to create new business opportunities. They independently analyze and interpret accounting standards and practices and ensure compliance.

Job responsibilities:

• Provides accounting guidance to peers, clients and other non-finance functions
• Develops new/changed processes and procedures and their implementation for a variety of accounting and business problems
• Coaches and supports team leaders to ensure that they can perform their roles efficiently and effectively
• Is in charge of transaction processing and reporting

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Long-standing and highly developed experience and knowledge in an accounting department across various processes, ideally with experience in high volume processing functions within an international environment
• Sound familiarity with accounting systems and tools and related control requirements
• Accounting qualification would be a serious advantage
• Fluency in English and French
• Transaction processing and reporting software experience
• Experience in leading larger teams
• Expertise in working in a service driven, customer focused environment
• High level of numeric skills
• Team player with solid leadership skills, capable of acting on own initiative
